The series will be opened with remarks by Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, Govt of India, and its theme is \u2018Building a Renewables-Hydrogen-Battery Storage Clean Energy Pathway\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>POLICY DEVELOPMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Ministry of Petroleum &amp; Natural Gas (MoPNG) mentioned a pilot project on Hydrogen CNG (H-CNG) and Green Hydrogen for blending hydrogen with compressed natural gas for use as transportation fuel and industrial input to refineries. <a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1712018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Link<\/a><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NITI Aayog:<\/strong> Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog made a presentation on Green Hydrogen talking about a 20-30 GW Electrolyser capacity ambition as well H2 in context of energy exports in the future. <a href=\"https:\/\/wri-india.org\/events\/india%E2%80%99s-approach-green-hydrogen-mr-amitabh-kant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Link<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>MoRTH Committee on Hydrogen Fuel Cells:<\/strong> The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has constituted a committee under the Chairmanship of Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport in discussing regulatory changes and facilitation of infrastructure, localization, economization and optimization of hydrogen fuel cells and other futuristic battery technologies for transportation purposes. IH2A member lead Dr. Anurag Pandey (Reliance Industries) has been invited into this Committee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>G2G Initiatives on H2:<\/strong> India-Japan Session on \u2018Decarbonization: Exploring the Hydrogen Prospects and Innovative Technologies\u2019 was organized by the Embassy of India in Japan, Department of Science &amp; Technology (DST), Government of India along with TERI on 19 April \u2013 led by Minister Counsellor for the Japanese Embassy in New Delhi and Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Director General, TERI. It covered electrolyzers manufacturing. <a href=\"https:\/\/in.news.yahoo.com\/experts-india-japan-talk-decarbonisation-155509650.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Link<\/a>. US-India Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 Partnership\u2019 was announced \u2018to meet goals of Paris Agreement.
